DriverTrainer Service Provider Qualification Certification

For in-house safety programs, we provide train-the-trainer certifications. These sessions provide trainers with the skills they need to bring our proven crash-prevention methods to your fleet’s drivers. In this five-day course, trainers learn how to identify drivers’ strengths and weaknesses and provide personalized, practical solutions to driving deficiencies. Additionally, we will certify in-house trainers how to deliver the custom Service Provider Defensive Driver Training for Driver On-Boarding. Make sure to mention the custom Service Provider Qualification Certification to make sure we schedule the correct course. The cost of the course is $2895.00 per student and the certification will be good for 2 years.  We allow a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 5 students per class.

Certified DriverTrainers will be given access to the KeySix Driver Management portal to document behind the wheel training completions at no additional charge after completing their course. Record of Road test and Vehicle Inspection forms will be able to be printed from this portal.

On-Boarding for Drivers

Certified DriverTrainers will have the skills and knowledge to conduct On-Boarding training for new drivers to include: Pre-trip inspections, Classroom Presentation, On-Road Observation, Demonstration, Coaching, and Road Test.

Initial Training for Current Drivers

Certified DriverTrainers will have the skills and knowledge to deliver classroom and on-road training in both forward motion (DriverDirect) and backing (Advanced Backing and CQM Course).

Continuous Training for Drivers Smith System eLearning

Following the initial date of driver training, students go through one eLearning course per month. The courses are designed to inform and remind the drivers of many important elements of their on-road training and how to remain collision free. The cost of eLearning is $30.00 per driver per year. Curative Training for Drivers

Service Providers will have two options to conduct curative training:

  1.  eLearning – The courses are designed to inform and remind the drivers of many important elements of their on-road training and how to remain collision free.
  2.  In Person Training – Certified DriverTrainers will have the skills to deliver classroom training, on-road training, and ride alongs.

Refresher Training for Drivers

Certified DriverTrainers will have the skills and knowledge to deliver refresher classroom and refresher on-road training in both forward motion (DriverDirect Refresher) and Backing (Advanced Backing and CQM Refresher Course).
